Calculations run in your browser

Every calculation on Calc happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. The values you enter — such as salary, loan amounts, investments, or dates of birth — are used only to compute your result on your device.

What we do not do

  • We do not send your calculator inputs to any server.
  • We do not store financial inputs in a database.
  • We do not store sensitive inputs in cookies or local storage.
  • We do not include your input values in analytics or logs.

Local preferences

To improve your experience, we may store non-sensitive preferences in your browser's local storage — such as your favorite calculators, recently used calculator names, and your light or dark theme choice. These never contain the values you calculate, and they never leave your device. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings.

Sharing calculations

Some calculators let you build a shareable link that includes your values as URL parameters. This is optional and only happens when you choose to share or bookmark. Those values live in the link itself and are not stored by us.

If analytics or third-party services are added in the future, this page will be updated to describe exactly what is collected. We will always avoid collecting the specific values you enter into calculators.
